this shipping policy describes how theblackandwhite.store manages the fulfillment, transit, and delivery of products purchased through our website. by placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
fulfillment & processing all orders are dispatched from our warehouse in sydney, nsw, australia. orders placed monday through friday are processed and shipped within 24 hours, pending item availability and payment approval.
orders placed on friday afternoon or over the weekend will be dispatched the following monday. during high-volume periods or immediately following a collection drop, processing may take 1-2 business days.
while we strive for inventory accuracy, product availability remains subject to change during peak processing times. in the event that an item is unavailable, you will be notified promptly.
domestic delivery (australia) all domestic orders are fulfilled via australia post. delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. for a specific eta based on your location, please refer to the aus post calculator.
for deliveries to western australia, we recommend selecting express shipping to mitigate transit delays. updated delivery windows can be viewed on the australia post domestic delivery times page.
click & collect click & collect is available at our paddington store. customers must select 'pick up' as the delivery method at checkout. you will receive an automated email notification once your order is ready for collection.
tracking & communication upon dispatch, a shipping confirmation email containing a direct tracking link will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.
if you have not received a confirmation within our standard processing window, please contact us at info@theblackandwhite.store. it is the customer's responsibility to provide a valid and monitored email address.
international shipping (outside australia)
duties, taxes, and customs for all international orders, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
import duties, taxes, and customs fees are determined by the destination country's government and are not included in our shipping charges. as of 2026, many regions require these fees to be settled prior to delivery. these mandatory levies remain the sole responsibility of the recipient.
transit & delivery international orders are dispatched via auspost international express. while we strive for efficient delivery, please allow up to 12 business days for arrival. the black and white store is not liable for delays caused by customs clearance procedures, local postal services, or international logistics disruptions.
failed delivery & unclaimed orders if a delivery is unsuccessful due to incorrect contact information, an invalid shipping address, or a refusal to pay local customs fees, the order will be returned to our warehouse.
in these instances, a $80 aud return shipping and processing fee will be deducted from your final refund to cover the costs incurred by the carrier and the store.
returns & liability the black and white store is not responsible for any items lost, stolen, or damaged during the return transit process.
to ensure your return is received securely, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. we are unable to process store credits or exchanges for items that do not arrive at our warehouse.
